Difficult times.

Sometimes a life can change in a heartbeat....
Meanwhile, the only certainty is that the sun will always rise and set each day;
and somewhere out there is always a beautiful rainbow.
But first it has to rain before you can see the colours.

I followed the link to get this.
CATEGORY ACRES
FOOD 5.2
MOBILITY 0.7
SHELTER 4.2
GOODS/SERVICES 4.4
TOTAL FOOTPRINT 14

IN COMPARISON, THE AVERAGE ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT IN YOUR COUNTRY IS 24 ACRES PER PERSON.
WORLDWIDE, THERE EXIST 4.5 BIOLOGICALLY PRODUCTIVE ACRES PER PERSON.
IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 3.3 PLANETS. I live in Chicago, thereby foot printing in ACRES rather than HECTARES. Our footprints are not comparable and with my math conversion skills will forever remain a mystery! Isn’t it like trying to compare the foot print of an elephant and mouse? Or am I going completely into a meltdown mode? Alan.
