Why a little knowledge can be dangerous for your health.
So I was idly perusing my medical dictionary, like you do. No, don't ask.
But in this case, I needed to check out the medical abbreviation "SAD"

Wow, I thought, this looks scary. Sudden Death Syndrome (SADS)
What's Sudden Death Syndrome ? Is it when you just drop dead ?
So I looked for the details.... Well, yes, it is.
SAD's are due to Long QT's. Of course.
.... you can read about long QT's here.

Luckily for me, there is another syndrome called "SAD".
This one is called Sub Acromial Decompression or SAD. That's the one I'm looking for.

P.S. I'm sorry if this post upsets anyone bereaved. I write here to amuse or enlighten myself, not cause personal offence.
P.P.S If you are concerned about your health, you should consult a doctor.

Comments:
After reviewing the term, Sub Acromial Decompression, I realized that manipulation under anesthetic is usually suggested. “Whilst under a general anesthetic the shoulder is moved through a completed range of motion. This has the effect of breaking down any adhesions within the joint and stretching the ligaments around the shoulder.” I have traveled through the deserts of south east New Mexico, very hot!, driven on the autobahn at very high rates of speed whilst under the influence of ?, very dangerous, lived in the wilds of East Africa, in the 50s, fathered triplets, more recently but I would repeat any of those experiences rather than have any adhesions forcibly broken down! Why a little knowledge can be dangerous for your health, or, to much can frighten the heck out of you!
